Beautiful crystal clear amber color with lots of soft bubbles rising to feed a 1.5 finger sea foamy, off-white head. It dissapates slowly and leaves thick strings of lacing around it. Beautiful beer. The aroma is intoxicating with clean and bright citrusy hop aromas shining through. Just a touch of resiny earthiness to keep it grounded, but the citrus is very present. A noticeably clean malt aroma is there as well, focusing on caramel aromas and less toastiness. A touch of booze makes its way through as well to remind you of the 7.5% ABV bill. Very pleasant aroma.
Potently hoppy. The hops come through and slam down the palate right away. A bit more earthiness is present here, but the hop taste still manages to be clean and fresh as imaginable. It has a spicy hop taste that stems from its potentness and is not at all unwelcome. The malts do a great job in supporting the hop profile in that they are subtle and tend to be forgotten in the first few sips. When your palate starts getting used to the hop barage, a subtle sweetness sneaks out and throws a balance in the beer that was overlooked before. Its caramelly and even a bit fruity, aided by the citrusy grapefruit of the hops. These hops also manage to be floral and piney as well. It has an easy drinking mouthfeel which is pleasant if not a little watery. The 7.5% can be felt, especially in the breath, but it is very subtle compared to the hops.
Not for the faint of heart if your not into big hoppy beers. This one packs a wallop of big hoppy flavors, so be ready. Definitely a good beer.

Glass: Nonic pint glass
Appearance: a clear dark yellow with a large rocky white lasting head.
Aroma: a citrusy hop aroma.
Taste: was light sweetness at first with orange citrus notes and the finish was a moderate to heavy hops bitterness.
Mouthfeel: comes into the mouth light and thin and almost seems to thicken while it sits on the tongue. carbonation was pretty average.
A good IPA, I really enjoyed the flavor and mouth feel, although I felt the aroma was lacking.
