This place is around the corner from the Great Lakes Brewing Company. It comes across as being a little trendy but still comfortable. The crowd was younger given the hip vibe of the place. The tap selection is on a chalk board behind the bar and is very impressive at first glance. The number of Belgians that they offer is a beer lovers dream. Sadly, they were out of the ones that I wanted to try. Especially since I stopped by this place specifically to have a St. Bernardus Abt 12 on tap. I had to settle for an Oak Aged Yeti which is still a good consolation prize. That was followed by a glass of Gulden Draak. The glassware selection is a nice touch. They are able to serve many beers in matching glasses. I would recommend stopping by this place for a nightcap after a nice dinner and tour at Great Lakes.

Great selection of Belgian and Belgian inspired beer, especially the tap selection. Not the ideal place for a non-Belgian fan. Food is well made, especially the house made sausage on the Big Board. Bartenders know their beer and their food, and are enthusiastic to talk about them. They do a good job of making suggestions to people not familiar with the beers they carry.

Went in around 2:00 PM on a Saturday. Really cool atmosphere, that mix of industrial, and modern. You weave through the tables to get to the bar, which is pretty large and spacious. Once at the bar, there were about three or four people behind the bar, and not really busy, but it took a couple minutes to be recognized. Friendly, but somewhat elitist. Looking through the beer selection, which was very nice, but kind of run of the mill. Nothing really knocked my socks off. The food menu was nice as well, but ordering the meat/ cheese/ vegetable board for $19 and getting not that much. Not saying it wasn't good, but 3-4 ounces of meat, 4-5 ounces of cheese, and a beet and a cocktail onion for $19 was a bit much. I did enjoy this place, but I was expecting something a bit more the way I hear people talk about it. I just feel it was a bit pricey for about average stuff.
