This is my staple go-to bar in Grand Rapids. It's got a really nice British/Indian fusion in both decor and menu. It is a little dark inside and wouldn't mind more lighting.
Pricing is a little high but I do like how the menu items are a la carte, which is great when you want something simple without having to pay for all the sides.
They have a great beer selection for the size of their pub. A handful of the same beers are always on hand because predictability can be good. Likewise others beers make a good appearance for a while. A firkin from founders is sometimes on hand. I can appreciate how they have both local beers and beers from across the world.
Quality of the beers is always good. clean lines, clean taps.
Service is good and the staff is friendly. Our beers arrive quick and never had a problem with getting a different beer than what I ordered.
Food is really good. I love the fusions and the food selection changes as often as the beer does with a handful of the same ol' classics.

The beer list is a bound book. If you can't find something you like, you don't like beer. I love the Hideout Smuggler's Hazelnut Stout.
The food is great! The celery taste actually pops in the au jus. I had a burger there, recently, and I'll definitely order it again. Normally some cheeses don't go well with beer, but the blend of tastes in the burger went well with the stout.
I've been there several times and parking is always easy to find, beside the building. It never seems to be busy, which I find odd. It's a nice, subdued place to eat and have a few beers. Unlike most places, you can actually converse here, without having to raise your voice.
I'll be back again, soon.
UPDATE: Been having the Drunken Cow Burger, lately - highly recommended! Parking is much harder to come by, unless you park on the street.
