Grocery store chain appealing to higher end customers. Two nice aisles filled with craft beer from around the country and they have regular tasting events. The mos t notable thing for me was how accommodating they were for single bottles purchases for Ohio. Everywhere else I go in Cleveland has some weird policy, or has a few singles and then the rest are 6ers. These folks were fine with breaking 6 packs and buying what you want. The guy who manages the section is also first class and really knows his stuff.

this particular heinen's has the best selection of all the grocery stores in the area, and the best selection of all the other heinen's locations that i've visited. the only other grocery store that rivals it is the whole foods on cedar, but even they do not have as large of a selection.
like many reviewers have said, this particular heinen's has a well rounded selection of belgian beers and domestic craft brews as well as other scattered imports. the selection includes 12 oz bottles as well as bombers and 750s and the beer isle is divided into a refrigerated and non-refrigerated section, with the majority of the bombers and craft brews on the non-refrigerated side. prices are what you would expect to pay at any local specialty beer shop, with a 6 pack of left hand running for about 10 dollars, for example.
the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. they will sometimes take requests and order beers that they would not otherwise carry. the helpfulness of the heinen's staff has definitely spoiled me into thinking that it is a disservice when a grocery store does not have a beer expert on their staff.
definitely worth a visit if you are on this part of town and looking for a good selection.

This is probably the best selection at a Heinens that I've been to! Nøgne Ø (until I bought it), JW Lees, Oak Aged Yeti, last years Insanity were all represented as were quite a few other impressive brews. I was on my way to a beer festival so I had to calm myself and ended up setting a few bottles down, but still managed to get a few nice ones! Check this one out if your are driving on 77 as its not far off the highway, it is definitely worth it. Not only do they have a pretty impressive inventory but its pretty large compared to the other Heinens store.

Great store. This is a high end grocery store, well lit, clean, and friendly staff. They actually have a great selection for a grocery store. They had a couple of holiday mix packs from a couple of local breweries. They had a good selection of singles in 12oz. and 22oz. bottles. They have 1 isle of room temp beers and the other side of the isle is refrigerated beer.
Here's a list of some of what I found:
Bear Republic - good selection
Unibrou - basics
Stone - basics
Delerium - basics
Bells - basics
Chimay - red white and blue
Trappistes Rochefort - 8 & 10
What I bought:
12oz. Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout - $2.59
12oz. Left Hand Milk Stout - $1.99
12oz. Bells Winter White Ale - $1.99
22oz. 3 Floyds Dreadnaught Imperial IPA - $9.99
If you're in the neighborhood, stop in and get some good beer. If you're not, it's a nice place to visit once but i wouldn't seek it out again because there are too many other beer stores in the area with the same if not better selection.

Visited based on current beerfly reviews and was very pleasantly surprised. My biggest surprise was Yulesmith. Also pleasantly surprised to find 7-7-7 Vertical Epic Ale. A very wide selection including; Founders, Southern Tier, Boulder, Stone, Weyerbacher, FFF, Legunitas, Bear Republic, Rogue, Great Lakes, Thirsty Dog, and many more, including a decent selection of Belgians. The prices were very reasonable and they had many single bottles available for $1.99. This is certainly worth checking out if you're in the area.

It's a grocery store, a pretty classy one at that. They load your bags in your car for you.
The beer selection is pretty damn good for a grocery store, They had Speedway Stout, Dreadnaught, Southern Tier, Great Lakes, Weyerbacher, Beer Republic and much more. Beers are available cold and at room temp.
The service is pretty good, Both times, I went in there a guy helped me find what I was looking for. If you are around the area, its definitely worth stopping in.
Oh yeah and the prices are pretty cheap

As good as this place had been, Mike and Tim, their heralded Beer Guys, are stepping it up.
There is now a much broader selection of Belgians - Chimay (red, white, blue), Rocheforts (8 & 10), Orval, Duchesse de Bourgogne, Piraat, full array of Lindeman lambics, Deliriums, Corsendonk (dark & pale), Tripple Karmeliet, St Bernardus Abt 12, Saison DuPont and more. Yes..I'm into Belgians!
Also a wide range of Samuel Smith's Tadcasters and even Thomas Hardy's Ale.
Stone, Avery, Lagunitas, Bell's, Left Hand, Dogfish Head, Clipper City, Great Lakes and more.
I rated "service" as a "4.5". What?!? For a grocery store?!?! I had the chance to discuss their recent evolution with Tim and suggested that Duchesse would be a fine addition, consistent with their high-end goals. Four days later, it was on the shelves!
Tastings three times a week! I may live too close to these guys.
A grocery store isn't going to get much better than this!!
