the malty/grainy flavour comes across as flowery honey sweetness ( this is why I prefer this to Ayinger Pils) before you are hit with lemony and some grapefruity semi- bitter notes. All fairly subtle, so not for DIPA drinkers who struggle to pay attention to little nuances, the balance is great

Hopefully it's better than the Warsteiner I just drank...

Average head level, with lively bubbles below...light and watery colour. Aroma is fairly subtle, with a distinguished German hops aroma detectable.

Interesting complexity in the flavour...it fizzes lots in the mouth and on the tongue. A little too fizzy perhaps...this lacks the hard hitting mystical hop bitterness of other German pilsners such as Radeberger, both burgers seem to be spelled differently, no idea why ; )

The hops here are still quite subtle. A bit too subtle for me. I'm not really getting that much flavour to be honest.

Overall it's definitely a good effort but not even close to Radeberger.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 4.9%. Crystal clear and very pale golden colour, large and lasting white head. Nice aroma of of fruity and floral aromatic hops, notes of honey, some sweetish malty aroma too. Light bodied, but there is also a subtle malty sweetness in the flavour, and moderate but distinct German hops throughout. Definitely a decent pilsener!

Pours a clear straw yellow color with a big top of white head that dissolves quickly and leaves some lacings.
Aroma is of grass, grains, white bread, citrus, honey, spices and herbs.
The taste is dry with grassy and herbal notes allong with some slight malt notes in the background. Finishes off quite bitter with herbal and earthy hop notes. Aftertaste has a decent lenght. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean with a medium carbonation and a medium body. A nice and thirstquenching classic german pilsner.

500ml bottle served in a hideous colored glass at my AirBnB.

Pours a pretty clear golden with a medium head. Smell is grain, yeast, a bit of grass.

Taste is crisp and bitter with a strong lager yeast flavor that I don't love so much. That funk.

Mouthfeel is light, dry, and crisp. Overall...that lager yeast flavor doesn't ruin it for me, but it's a limiting factor.

500ml bottle served in a nonic glass.

Look- Clear golden straw color. Decent bright white head that slowly recedes to a thin cap of foam, moderate lacing. Very active carbonation streams visible.

Smell- Bready and honey malt, light citrus and green apple, a bit of plum and spice, herbal/grassy and floral notes.

Taste- Lemony citrus, a bit of green apple, sweet bready malts, dry floral/earthy hops and light spice.

Feel- Medium/light bodied. Crisp with a fairly dry, lightly bitter finish. Medium/heavy carbonation on the tongue.

O- A very nice pilsner and a good representation of the style, holds its own against some of the better German offerings.

500ml Euro bottle from Capital Market in Salem OR
$3.89
Pours the traditional bright, clear golden colour, nice sized thick frothy white head...great laceing!
Delicious honey and bread aromas..seems fresh!
Lovely and balanced taste..malty, honey and saaz hops..beautiful in its simplicity really.
Good mouth feel also..not thin yet easy to quaff..
A really nice simple example of the brewers skill here. Delicious
