Notes & Commercial Description:
Beer added by: sommersb on 05-25-2012

This beer is retired; no longer brewed.

“Wit” is Flemish for “white”. This unfiltered wheat beer will sometimes present itself with a white tint coming from the yeast and wheat. Flavored with orange peel and coriander, this typical summer beer is refreshing any time of year.

A: Cloudy beer of straw yellow, capped with a white head a finger high. Lacing is very good.

S: Aromas are of spices and citrus (oranges), plus pale and wheat malts.

T: Zesty taste, with typical witbier flavors of orange zest and coriander. Features some tartness, with very little bitterness.

M: Well-bodied and nicely carbonated, this one is easy to drink and very refreshing. Finish has a bit of a tart tanginess and is moderately dry.

O: This is a great beer style for hot summers in the south and Boscos seems to have executed just right.
