The best selection of good quality Real Ale you are going to find in Salisbury. Out past the Railway Station, away from the centre and most tourists, it is well worth finding.
Very friendly locals, who know their beers, as did the chap behind the bar.
Two beers from a local brewery, Timothy Taylor's Landlord and another two, plus the normal Lager/Keg fonts. Both my beers were fine. I had used the place years ago, and was impressed then, glad tosay it has not gone down-hill, like some of the pubs in Salisbury.

This is a smallish pub near the train station in Salisbury. There is no food available, we were mournfully informed. My father and I enjoyed comfortable seating in this very homey pub, with locals enjoying each other's company and such. They offered 4-5 casks, including Deuchars IPA and Quadhop, both of which I liked. Our server was perfectly pleasant. The tvs were on for some important rugby, but not overwhelmingly loud. A nice neighborhood place. I would go back. One of a handful of good places in this town; I recommend a visit.
