eyes...
quite the foamy bastard, almost three fingers of slightly off white head, clingy head made up of nice micro bubbles, a good amount of carbonation is present which of course feeds the head, slight orange hue and clear, pretty standard to above average fare

nose...
somewhat musty, mild caramel malts, very mild spice from the hops

taste etc...
pretty mellow, a mix of some spice, some sweetness, the malt profile is probably what jumps up first, Am I supposed to be wooed by the subtlety here... or bored by it ? this is so underwhelming on so many levels, just real middle of the road, a nice malt flavor and a hint of the hops really...

verdict?
disappointing. I don't mind going with a non psycho style for an anniversary ale but this is just average at best

Not the same as the old Integrity Ale,this is brewed as an American Golden Ale.Pours into an imperial nonic a clear medium golden with a sticky one finger white head atop that leave globs of lace as it settles slowly.Fruity malts in the nose along with more malty biscuit, leafy hops linger.Sweet caramel malts with light toast,a bit of soapiness and light leafy hops in the finish. This to me is much more malt driven than usual for Rogue, not bad.

Poured a hazy amber with a creamy semi-white laced head. There really wasn't anything in the nose for this one. Couldn't distinguish any hops, malt, citrus, etc
The taste was ok, not hoppy or malty as the nose sort of made you figure that.
But what I REALLY liked about this beer was that the mouthful was ENORMOUS. Full, inviting, enjoyable, filling each part of your mouth with good honest beer
That alone made you come back for another sip

750ml silver painted bottle. As usual the label is bravado-heavy, with absolutely no mention of what the beer inside this marketing trope is. And why is the name mashed together here, when the otherwise useless label displays it as otherwise (ya know, in standard English?)

This beer pours a hazy medium golden yellow colour, with two fingers of foamy, rocky, and mildly frothy ecru head, which leaves some drooping limestone arch lace around the glass as it slowly sinks away.

It smells of biscuity pale malt, middling orange citrus notes, understated earthy field honey, and grassy, herbal hops. The taste is semi-sweet caramel malt, a touch of biscuity breadiness, floral, soapy, and grassy hops, weakly fading honey, and some meekly lingering orchard fruitiness.

The bubbles are light, and mostly just plainly and agreeably frothy, the body on the lee side of medium weight, and smooth with very little other caveats, good or bad. It finishes barely off-dry, the grainy malt holding tight, while the mixed fruitiness waxes and wanes, and the weakly bitter leafy and grassy hops peter out much more consistently.

Another Rogue offering where the outside turns out to be way more sassy than the insides - which here involve a basic APA - decently malty, and yet a bit too underwhelmingly hoppy. A hard to explain criticism, as usual for this brewer - the quality isn't lacking, it's just hardly up to the price and overbearing machismo of, well everything about what I see before me now.

750 ml bottle, with no apparent bottled on date present. Acquired this big silver ceramic bottle from the local beer store. The name of this beer is actually just Rogue Integrity Ale, according to the Rogue website, so someone should fix that. Anyway, it's been a little while since I had anything from Rogue, but my expectations are good.

Poured into a clear balloon snifter glass.

A - Pours just over two fingers of fluffy soapy off-white head on top of a beautiful light honeyed orange colored body. Looks pretty nice.

S - Smell is pretty light. Honeyed graham cracker malts, hint of creaminess, & a hint of herbal hop presence, but this is mostly just a malt bomb.

T - Taste follows the nose: bready pilsner malt taste, some honey, graham crackers, biscuit, and faint citrus / earthy herbal hoppiness. Again, mostly a straight forward malt showcase.

M - Feel is smooth and creamy, with good frothiness, and good duration of flavor. Dry, bready honeyed malt lingering long and hard on the palate. Light bodied with good carbonation.

Overall, I was expecting more hops, and more complexity with this one, but it's a simple well-made pale ale. Definitely seems a little bit tame and "normal", especially by Rogue's standards, but it was a solid drinking experience. Glad to have tried it.
