fizzy and active head, 3 fingers in height on an easy pour, kind of a cloudy orange hue with lots of bubbles moshing about in the pit, crazy craggy sticky foam cap, the carbonation crashing around is made up of small bubbles that wind up packing the head with new beer kamikazes ready to evaporate for the emperor (in this case, moi), super nice looking brew, I'm jazzed
the ROYGBIV of hop aroma, lemony, herbal, tropical fruit, effervescent tones, citrus (orange), fresh hop cone notes (but not quite pine more in line with west coast IPA freshness type of aroma)... man this is nuts, this may not be the most intense hop experience but the sheer spectrum of snort going on here is damn mighty impressive (and hey you still smell the sweet malt)
pretty thick, the carbonation is not as bright as you might think but it is good, the flavors really mirror the aroma tightly, nothing is screaming out at you but all the notes are there, there are layers of bitterness each with their own character, you really get hop oil feel and taste in here, this is so damn balanced, there is an almost chewy tone to the tropical fruit sweetness here but it lies hand in hand with the bittering hops, the ABV can be felt later on but is only apparent in some gentle warming in the stomach, you get the full buffet of hops here, awesome
I can not recall a "insert hop variety number here" IPA that really matched all the hops together, mostly high alpha monsters dominate and overpower (not that I don't love some of those beers), this one is balanced as a midget and a 10 year old on a see saw, well, or something like that... seriously good stuff here

Pours orange with a fading large head.
Nose shows copious amounts of sweet clean malt, pine and resin. Quite nice in terms of the malt character.
Very similar flavours, very malty but still quite clean. Gets piny along with some resinous hops followed by a sharp, abrasive bitterness.
Could use some more carbonation.
