2005 Morimoto Imperial Pilsner. 1 pint 10. FL. OZ. bottle, really nice design on this cream colored ceramic bottle.
Poured into a pokal. Ths beer looks damn good. A nice creamy white 2 finger head atop a dense golden body, there is no clarity. Similar to an unfiltered wheat beer.
Aroma: a bouquet of citric hops.
Taste: sweet malts with a huge juicy hop presence. Lots of high alpha hop bitterness and a lil alcholol warmness on the finish.
Mouthfeel: medium body, crisp, moderately carbonated.
Drinkability: Even at 8% I find this to be a very drinkable beer, though I think the hops might be a little bit overwhelming for non-hop-heads. Though I don't how often I will come back to this beer at $12 bucks a pop
