Poured from the tap, has a nice viscous brown semi-transparent brown with a off white head that leaves ok lacing.
S: lots of sweet malt, carmel, hops and of course hazelnuts.
T: follows the nose, great carmel sweetness is blends well with the nutty hazelnuts and ends with a twang of hoppy bite,
M: pretty light, lighter than most brown ales ive had, i think its because of the carbonation
O: a solid brown ale, deff will be buying this again.
Serving type: on-tap

12 oz bottle was poured into a shaker glass at Parish Cafe on Boylston.
Appearance: This beer poured a one finger whitish brown head that reduced to a thin layer. It is an amber brown color with some vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.
Smell: Toasted malts, roasted, hazelnut, a little chocolate, and some sweetness.
Taste: Hazelnut, toasted, chocolate, some sweetness, mild bitterness, and earthy notes..
Mouthfeel: Smooth, a little chewy, light to medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, and slight bitterness.
Overall: Awesome brown ale. Will be enjoying this one again in the near future.
