A - Pours a semi-opaque mahogany/copper mix with light red & orange on the corners. Small, tight khaki head with some packed bubbles lasting throughout. No lacing in my pint glass however.

S - Caramel, nutty, syrupy, sweet, some clean malt. Get some molasses and chocolate halfway down as well.

T - Follows nose with mostly sweet middle. Hazelnut is there and natural, not overdone. Caramel malt gives way to some crispy bitter balance towards the end and lingers into a nutty earthy finish.

MF - Smooth, sweet and syrupy yet crispy and balanced on the back. Nice carbonation. Squarely medium bodied.

O - Tasty take on a brown. Combined a nutty caramel sweetness with refreshing complimentary bitter. A nice dessert pick. Would buy again at the right price.

12 oz bottle was poured into a shaker glass at Parish Cafe on Boylston.

Appearance: This beer poured a one finger whitish brown head that reduced to a thin layer. It is an amber brown color with some vision of bubbles coming up through the glass. Spotty lacing down the glass as the beer was drank.

Smell: Toasted malts, roasted, hazelnut, a little chocolate, and some sweetness.

Taste: Hazelnut, toasted, chocolate, some sweetness, mild bitterness, and earthy notes..

Mouthfeel: Smooth, a little chewy, light to medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, and slight bitterness.

Overall: Awesome brown ale. Will be enjoying this one again in the near future.

Appearance is a clear dark brown with a two if her light brown head.
Aroma is caramel, nutty, pecan pie, toffee
Taste follows the nose but in a lighter, watered down way.
Nice malt balance but great rich nutty flavors come through.
Mouthfeel is pretty carbonated and medium to thin.
Overall it's probably my favorite rogue beer and is drink it again.
