A: Clear amber, little carbonation seen, but this one has a surprisingly nice head, about 1" in height, tan in color, fairly sticky lacing all over the glass. Nice.
S: Fruity hop aromas dominate. Low level malty aroma in the background.
T: Bitter is a good enough label for this style. Taste is moderately bitter from start to finish. Spicy alcohol taste. Malt flavors are low and barely there.
M: Medium/light body. Carbonation is a bit above medium. Dry. Alcohol feels a bit high, wish I knew what it was, but feels about 6% maybe? There's a bit of hotness in the alcohol feel.
D&N: Interesting because it's a beer made on the west coast for a killer bar here in PA. I don't know if this is just their Younger's Special Bitter repackaged for us, it might be interesting to do a side by side tasting to try and find out. I didn't know if I'd like a bitter, but I seemed to have blinked twice and drained 3/4 of the glass. Goes down very well, feels a bit hot but that's ok. I love surprises, and this one is quite tasty.
