Issaquah Ménage À Frog
Rogue Ales
Pours a dark golden color with a small, short livid white head and no lacing. Aromas of estery Belgian abbey yeast, with lots of fruit, bubblegum, banana and bready notes. In the taste, more fruity notes, (pear, apple, banana) and some sweet bubblegum notes. Very faint herbal hop character and low bitterness. Mostly sweet, with bubblegum and fruity esters sticking out. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a nice carbonation sting. Finishes relatively clean with some lingering sweetness. Overall, a pretty nice American interpretation of a Belgian Tripel. Fruity, somewhat sweet, and pretty tasty.
