Paid $7.49 for a 6pk.
The appearence was very typical porter; deep dark brown base with a light-to-mid sized light brown head that keeps for a bit with a little lace. The smell is a very bold coffee presence as with chocolate and a good hop mix.
The taste is very robust with many things going on when drinking, average carbonation, mildly bitter, roast tasting, harsher porter than most - feels like a light stout despite the porter abv of 5.3%
The mouthfeel was the only thing that wasn't a 4/5, it felt a little bubbly in the mouth as a porter, but as drinkability goes, it does no harm.
Final Thought: I'll call this a heavy porter vs. a light stout, but regardless, well worth the money...
