12oz bottle poured into a snifter.
A: Black in color with the slightest amount of light coming through at the edges. Half finger light tan head with decent retention and nice lacing.
S: Roasted coffee and semi sweet chocolate. Not a huge aroma but nice.
T: Roastiness upfront. Followed my a decent blend of chocolate and coffee. Very light coffee bitterness. Roasted notes come back a tad in the finish.
M: Light bodied. Not very creamy. Medium high carbonation.
O: A good porter. Not up with the best of them but still good.

A: pours a dark brown, a little bit of murkiness, thin color of brown head, minimal retention
S: nose is a deep roasted malt with plenty of coffee present, chocolate comes in the middle, roasted barley balances really well with the adjunct ingredients
T: the taste is malt forward in the form of roasted barley and chocolate malt, mocha qualities blend well with the base malts. The end result is very robust and flavorful.
MF: light body, medium carbonation
O: tasty, well balanced and easy drinking. Not a big fan of everything Rogue does, but this one is nice.

Pours a burnt brown with a light khaki head, and great lacing.
Chunky sweet chocolate on the nose, coffee.
Sweet chocolate followed immediately by roasted coffee bitterness.
A lingering bittersweet finish sits on the tongue well after each sip
Well carbonated, medium bodied with a slightly chewy finish.
One of my favorite go-to porters. Once upon a time, this was one of the introductory dark beers in my beer education. This one will always hold a special place in my beer heart.
