Pours a dark brown with medium tan/brown head. Smell is decent, roasted malts, some chocolate hints. The head lingers for quite a while.

Taste is excellent. It has all the typical roastiness, chocolate flavors of a great porter, with a unique mocha taste that pervades throughout, especially strong in the finish. I don't really know what mocha is, but if this is it, it's quite nice.

In general, I would prefer the taste to be a bit more intense, but that's a porter for you.

Overall: A very unique porter. Good for kicks.

P: 12 oz. longneck brown bottle.

A: Pours black as coal with an intense 2 finger light brown foam head that very slowly lowers to a thick cover and LACING.

S: Coffee, chocolate, roasted grains and sweetness

T: Carbonation brings in a very smooth roasted malt, sweet chocolate and a bitter coffee mix that roll around in the mouth and leave a very nice dry mix of aftertaste on the palate.

M: Surprised that this is not a smash mouth Rogue, rather a kinder and gentler Rogue that I really enjoy as it is very pleasing in all respects.

D: Will try to keep this on hand for guests and will not hesitate to recommend or order if I ever see it on tap.

Pours a dark brown, some red hues if held up to light. Not much of a head, a tan colored head that leaves some long lasting lace.
Smell of roasted malts and coffee, some chocolate as well.
Tastes of cold coffee some mocha/chocolate flavors.
Medium body and carbonation.
A pleasant beer. Enjoyed it.

Deep murky brown color, big creamy head. Chocolate roasty aroma, coffee and burnt chocolate flavors. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel, nice burnt bitterness in the finish. I have yet to find a rogue I don't like,
