Appearance - A hazy rust orange with a large, extremely foamy white head. Lots of lacing and retention.
Smell - Definitely a smoked smell, like chipotle peppers and woodchips that have been charred and are on they're last legs. A strong caramel maltiness, some fruitiness, liked grilled pineapple and pear.
Taste - A heavy smoked flavor, not dissimilar at all from Kansas City style BBQ sauce. A good bit of fruity esters shine through the smoke along with the malts to give the beer a nice sweetness. Medium bodied, nothing particular interesting about the mouthfeel.

On tap at Rogue brewpub in Eugene, poured into a pint glass.
A-Pours a dark golden amber, slightly opaque. Has a very thin top of off white head, visible lacing.
S-Smoked oak, caramel malt.
T-Sweet caramel malt, campfire smoke, slight hoppy bitterness. There's even the smallest hint of sour granny smith apple.
M-Light medium body, very light carbonation.
O-Pleasant smoke ale with light balance. The smoke flavor isn't overwhelming and I'd prefer more of it also more carbonation.
