Appearance: Deep, rich gold with a substantial rocky head and impressive lacing. Faint cloudiness, which does not detract from the appearance.
Smell: Intensely fruity aroma. Smells like a fruit basket that's heavy on the oranges. Also hints of cherries and dates lurking underneath the surface. Mild pine overtones as well.
Taste: The beginning is all malt, though not as strongly as I would have expected. Mid-palate sees the development of the hops, with strong pine notes (that become mildly medicine-y). The finish pulls out some chocolate notes before diving to a strongly bitter end.
Mouthfeel: Perfect for an IPA. Not too thick, not too watery. A creamy consistency, with restrained carbonation and a small bead.
Drinkability: I dunno if I just got a bad batch, but this beer is very slightly off-putting. The Listerine-esque flavors in the mid-palate just aren't doing it for me.

Got a growler on the way out of Portland, bring it on the plane !
Light orange, clear IPA. Nice 1/2 inch white foamy head poured into my 10 barrel medium side snifter.
Mild bite from the IPA, nice mild grapefruit, hoppy flavor, very pleasant to drunk, even though it is over 9 %.
Mouthfeel seems 'bout right, a little malty goodness when you 'foam' it up in your mouth.
I would drink this every time at the airport, a nice find there , will probably add it in the cart now, from time to time. Drink it !
