This imperial IPA beer pours a hazy orange color with a small white head that fades. The aroma is a sharp spike of Cascade, East Kent Golding and Saaz hops but you also pick up the generous aroma from the Maris Otter malts. The taste is complex. Potent with a huge malt base, the 74 IBUs are balanced well against the sweetness of the malt. The grapefruit sharpness from the hops pierces the malt to prevent it from being too cloying. As it warms the malt becomes a bit more sweet. Given its octanes and IBUs, this really is not a session beer.

Got a growler on the way out of Portland, bring it on the plane !
Light orange, clear IPA. Nice 1/2 inch white foamy head poured into my 10 barrel medium side snifter.
Mild bite from the IPA, nice mild grapefruit, hoppy flavor, very pleasant to drunk, even though it is over 9 %.
Mouthfeel seems 'bout right, a little malty goodness when you 'foam' it up in your mouth.
I would drink this every time at the airport, a nice find there , will probably add it in the cart now, from time to time. Drink it !
