I've been lucky enough to be drinking these on a regular basis at my local,Strange brew tavern, had 2 last night.
This fine brew is nicely hazey and has a light color for such a big brew.
Nice light head that holds up well considering all the alcohol in it.
Big grassy, american hop aromas waft from the standard "shaker" pint glass. Very inticing, begging for a sip.
Juicy, hop juice like flavor followed by big alcohol. Not hot alcohol, but pretty smooth, not even warming in the throat, the hops cover it up well.Lots of hop flavor without a ton of bitterness. Fresh dry hopped character. Slight malt character, mostly just big fruity esters and citrusy hops and alcohol. Mouthfeel and body relatively thin for such a huge beer, well attenuated and pretty crisp, allowing for more than one pint to be consumed.
One of Rogues best, come to Manchester and drink 'em for less than in the bottle. Followed this one with a SN Celebration, and it seemed tame. Note to self: drink the SN first!
Note to reader: beware of multiple I2PA's!

A: Opaque copper color with off-white head and excellent lacing.
S: Bread floral, citrus and pine aromas.
T: Balances nicely between biscuity malt flavors and piney hop notes.
M: Clean and refreshing big brew with dry finish.
