Poured on tap into a flared stange glass.
A - Clear honey-colored pour with a hint of cloudiness, very little initial head fading to nothing but traces around the rim. Left delicate lacing.
S - Crisp, light smell. Very sweet and citrusy; hints of grapefruit and light hops, very warm but faint malts.
T - Very light and refreshing for an Imperial IPA, light and sweet malt with hints of citrus, finishes with mild and flowery hops and very little hop bite. Well done to be sure.
M - Also fairly light and watery, but substantial enough to be pleasant with fairly subdued carbonation.
D - A very refreshing brew, a perfect IPA for a warm day or when parched.
My perception of this beer may be slightly skewed given that the typical Imperial IPAs I have are of the Stone Ruination persuasion, so others may not find it quite as light on the hops as I do. Either way, I feel that this is a universally appreciable IPA, very well-balanced and refreshing. I find it particularly pleasing brew in that it doesn't try to be a ballsy, "not for the faint of heart" IPA and uses the hops as a tastefully mild finishing touch.

S: Bread floral, citrus and pine aromas.
T: Balances nicely between biscuity malt flavors and piney hop notes.
M: Clean and refreshing big brew with dry finish.
O: Big flavorful Imperial IPA that is well-balanced.
