Appearance: The pour offers a hazy copper hue and a healthy off-white head with nice lacing.
Smell: The bomber bottle touts that there's a "stupendous hop aroma." It reminds me of the smell of a wet-hopped beer... it has that kind of thick fragrance.
Taste: Well, I did have this beer on draught a couple weeks ago and it was more nuanced, but this still has character--well balanced, starting on the mild side, them some malty qualities before more active hop bitterness enters the equation.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, with just enough carbonation, and a kind of slippery quality that contributes to mouthfeel as well as taste. The mouthfeel reminds me of Quintine Blonde actually.
Drinkability: I feel like a fool for not discovering this beer sooner, as it's a great option in a style/category I don't go to often enough. Pleasantly balanced and drinkable.
