Appearance: Pours a cloudy caramel amber with a light tan head. The color reminds me slightly of syrup. There is also a light nice carbonation
Smell: Smells heavy with carmely malts and bready wafting.
Taste: Tastes very bready like the smell with some nice malty bits, and a bitter tongue tingling on the aftertaste. The sweat caramel maltiness is also there in the front taste and in some of the initial aftertaste. The hops are only really present in after taste, but they run a strong back bite.
Mouthfeel: Smooth and thickly watery with a good back bite from the bitters. The tingle is harsh on the tongue when it is left to sit.
Overall: This is a nice bready ale with some cool malts and an interesting back bite. It includes all of the essentials of a beer; yeast, hops, malts. Yet it still only seems like only a mildly good beer in the end. Not amazing, but a good drink.
