Looks quite beautiful--very deep, nearly brownish amber with a voluptuous, caramel head. Smells strongly of hops and alcohol with lemon and orange zest. There is also a very faint sweetness. After such a powerful nose, I was expecting to barely be able to swallow this beer, but it's considerably easy to drink. Complex hops and the citrus bitterness are delightful, but personally, I think that either they should be taken down a notch or else the sweetness (present at the very beginning and end) should be bumped up to ensure better balance...preferably the former. Not my favorite of the ever-joyable Rogue creations, but still, a great choice.
