22 oz. bottle poured into pint glass.
Clear amber brown brew under two fingers white head, slow dissipation. A real nice balance of malt and hops in the nose, with the same balance present on the taste buds with a bit of a hop hit on the back end, but not overwhelming. Not the most popular of the Rogue line, but certainly one of the most tasty.
I started my craft brew journey with Full Sail Amber, which after being through the knockdown drag-out IPA education, doesn't quite taste the same (are they using as much chocolate malt as before?) The beer brought back very pleasant memories of those early days. I would most certainly recommend this as an entry beer for craft newbies, very tasty and very sessionable.
