About a finger and a half of head with an aggressive pour. The head has an orangish cast and disappears relatively quickly.
The beer itself is a coppery red. A darker, redder amber for sure.
Smell is a biscuit and caramel aroma wrapped in citrus hops.
Taste is overly hoppy with some of the caramel malt coming through but not much. Leaves with a dry cracker and grapefruity hops flavor. Too hoppy for the style IMHO.
Mouthfeel is a bit sharp and drying. This isn't overy pleasant to feel as it goes down.
Drinkability suffers due to its overly drying flavors and sharp feel.
