Pours a deep amber, almost red color with a thick, frothy white head that retains well, this is a cloudy brew. Aroma is all hops, mostly citrusy grapefruit smell with a floral and piney background and a hint of molasses. Taste is big Pacific NW hops, grapefruit, pine oil, floral and resiny hops with a sweet caramel malt background. Very flavorful and complex, yet drinkable. The finish is dry and bitter, and the carbonation is high making this a very drinkable brew.
