Pours a deep un-filtered cider color, very weak cinnamon head, a bit of lacing.
Rich malty aroma reminiscent of brown sugar and over-ripe peaches.
Heavy flavor comprised of bitter hops balanced with rich malts -- I'm getting a piney undertone enhanced by banana and straw. Strong taste complimenting the heavy mouthfeel.
Mouthfeel is heavy, viscous, goes down slow and thick; lingering.
Drinkibility: alcohol prevalent (9%), and thick, but otherwise drinkibility is good.
Overall, a good heavy almost barley-wine like and bitter brew. If you like Dead Guy, you'll undoubtedly like Double Dead Guy -- appropriately named.
Serving type: bottle
