I rushed down to Hamilton's when I saw Double Dead Guy on their tap list. A rare offering and I was glad I got a chance to try it.
A: A thin, coating head layer. Poured amber to burnt orange fade in color.
S: Malty and sweet. Slight orange / cirtus aroma.
T: Spice and citrus, mixed with mellow "brown" ale taste. The hop flavors poke through the other layers.
M: Watery and smooth with a brief taste lingering on your palate.
D: Hoppy and full bodied. Bold brew. I could easily finish two to three pints without blinking and would be very satisfied.
Serving type: on-tap
