750ml bright red bottle.
Pours a shimmering light copper with a steady head of khaki foam.
Typical Rogue-ish Pacman yeast aroma..hefty, bready malt with a solid dosage of Cascade hop juice.
Bitter hop resin up-front..grassy overall flavor with a noticeable alcohol presence lingering about..doesn't really seem like a doppelbock in any aspect to me...more like a double IPA or a barleywine....whatever, it is what it is.
Mouthfeel is pretty full, and carries the flavor well. Carbonation is subdued but adequate.
In my opinion, for $11/bottle, this needs to deliver a little bit more..
