Poured into Yuengling draft glass
A- Looks glorious. Pours a beautiful hazy golden amber body with almost three fingers of frothy white head that sticks around for quite a while and leaves some lacing on the glass.
S- Pungent/bitter grapefruit with hints of orange and sweet malt. Appetizing.
T- Hoppy up front with grapefruit and tart citrus notes. A light malt presence give it balance before it ends with a strong, but not overpowering hop bitterness that lingers.
M- Has a nice medium-light body to it with smooth juicy mouthfeel. Not quite as crisp as some of the other West Coast style IPAs.
O- This beer is a good quenching West Coast style IPA. Its not up there with the Sculpin or Bell's Two Hearted but it is definitely a better than average IPA and one well worth drinking again.
