Pours a slightly hazy golden brown color into a Trappistes Rochefort glass. Decent lacing that follows the beer as it goes down. The hoppiness I would say is fairly high but not extreme. Pretty much just what I expected from what I had had a few years ago. The smell is about the same. The hops are not really outstanding but evident nonetheless. Mouthfeel is moderate and the hops have a mild bite so the beer runs fairly smooth across the tongue. Carbonation is not high which is always a plus to me. Drinkibility is good as it has nothing outstanding or overpowering. Just as I remember from trying it a few years back, this is a great IPA and one of the best beers from Rogue that I've tried (being a regular/seasonal offering.) Will absolutely be drinking many more of these and have a couple growlers still in the wait.
