Bomber into pint glass
Appearance- Nice firm head, that lingers then turns to thin film. Best way to discribe it is, hmmm honey. Light brown and not transparent.
Smell- Strong pine hop notes, no malt detectable, slight grapefruit aroma.
Taste- Good American IPA. Strong hop flavor, and it lingers on the palate. The malt is lost, which I believe is the downfall of this beer, but still not bad. There is little carbonation, and one does not taste different hops varieties at all, mostly pine.
Mouthfeel and drinkablity- Ok, but watery, yet the hops take away from the session ability. It's not the alch, or heavy malt but simply a lingering bitterness which takes it down a few notches.
This is a solid craft beer, but nothing out of the ordinary.
