This is a pretty sexy looking brew! A nice hazy amber with a HUGE head that doesn't fade, and leaves thick lines of lace.
The smell is a little dissapointing. A little lemon, pine, and pepper, but it's not a very potent smell. Just a faint smell of hops.
The taste is much better than the smell. A lot stronger on the malt than I thought it would be. Tastes like lemon and pineapple followed by caramel and honey. It definitely has a spicy pine flavor to it.
The mouthfeel is pretty dissapointing after seeing the head. I thought it would be heavy on the carbonation, but it's actually kinda flat and pretty syrupy for a beer thats only 6%.
Overall, it's not a bad beer. It would be nice with a meal. Maybe some wings an pizza or BBQ ribs, it's nothing too dazzling though.
