Chilled 1pint bottle poured into a pint glass.
Body is part way between a golden straw color to a bright amber honey. Pours a fast growing 3 finger head that falls away to a third its size reasonably quickly with thick patches of lace around the glass.
Huge up front fruity aromas of citrus hops, yeast and hints of ginger.
More of the same in the taste but the bright citrus gives way to a sour grapefruit taste with the hops and yeast really exploding out.
Moderately weighted and lightly carbonated with a long palate that is immediately complex. Fruity flavors give way to the sour grapefruit then the taste evolves through a shifting combination of grainy yeast and spicy hops. This gives way eventually to a dry finish. An interesting dynamic that continues to develop as you move your way through the glass.
