I'm pleasantly surprised with this one. Smells like bubble gum, a little fruity. Traces of citrus hops and some malty suggestions. Haven't tasted an IPA like this yet. A wonderful and balanced hops taste. A little tropical citrus, some grapefruit and pine.
Bitter hops on the end. A touch of light biscuit malt throughout. I could drink a lot more of this. People can say what they will about Rogue, but they have a few top-notch brews in my book.
I will say this though; I enjoyed the first half of this bottle more than the second. The latter tasted more yeasty and heavy. The bottle had plenty of time to settle and I poured correctly, so I don't know what's up with that.
