A really interesting IPA. I love the label. Visible refreshment on the pour, nice spittley head and urine colored frosty beer.
Smell is more pale ale than typical IPA. Grassy and herbal, with piney hops and hint of grapefruit, lemon. Almost candy-like. Getting into Dale's and SNPA territory here. If this were labeled as a pale ale it would be amongst the best.
This tastes just like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale with different malts. Either that or it tastes the way SNPA used to taste before you wrecked your tastebuds with Ruination.
Pretty satisfying drink but not worth showcasing in a $7 bomber. Throw this into a 6-pack and I would love to drink it as a winter IPA. Great bottle though.
