A deep golden pour teams with a fluffy cream head. Slightly hazy. Good head retention and great lacing. Very sexy served in a tulip.
Good fruity aromas of grapefruit, tangerine and mango. Nice.
Strong bitterness. Some hop flavour and a hint of alcohol. This certainly isn't a weak beer. The malt seems insignificant and the beer is way out of balance with the hops being far too aggressive for the style and becoming harsh. Citrus and pine flavours hit everything else in this beer away and we finish with a harsh, strident hop character that isn't all that pleasant.
Creamy mouthfeel but this flows into a slightly watery character. Moderate carbonation.
I want to like this but the beer is so out of balance that it is not particularly drinkable.
Serving type: on-tap
