Appearance: It has a bit of a cloudy yellow color that clears up after it sits. The head is frothy and plentiful.
Smell: The smell also comes off strong as I opened the bottled but faded. There is a lot of citrus.
Taste: An easy transitioning in flavor type IPA with complex flavors. Bitter sweet citrus at first that finishes sweet.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with a bitterness that doesn’t hit with a lot of pucker factor.
Overall: It wouldn’t be my first choice but I would definitely hit up again.

A golden-yellow, somewhat cloudy/hazy, with big creamy, fluffy, puffy white head.Nice thick, creamy and sticky lacing. pretty light and tame in color for an IPA. Adequate retention.
Nice citrus, piney hops nose, with some caramel malt sweetness to back it up. Very standard IPA scents. Very delicious and inviting.
My mouth is hit with very nice citrus and piney hops notes, abundant here, with a good solid caramel-malt backbone to support it. Very tasty. Everything I demand in any IPA. A good solid medium body, fairly heavy carbonation of course, but the flavors shine through nonetheless.
A solid West Coast IPA, may not be the best or one of the best, may not even be great, but a good reliable standard American IPA. Recommend.

Poured from 22 oz. bottle into pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a cloudy orange hue with a huge white four-finger head that leaves great lacing on the glass.
Smell: Spicy floral hops, mild citrus
Taste: Sweet, citrusy hops with a mild bitterness that doesn't linger. Simple but good.
Mouthfeel: Moderate body with moderate carbonation, definitely drinkable and not a sipper.
Overall: While it's not a strong IPA, it's a good one. Highly recommended.

A - Pours a hazy golden color. Nice lacing once I drank it down some.
S - Slightly citrus smell. I get more pine/earth smells from this IPA.
T - Good amount of hops in here. I taste a lot of pine and has some bite at the end.
M - Great mouthfeel here. Spot on.
O - Not an IPA I would reach for. It wouldn't even go in the rotation. Different strokes for different folks!

64 Oz growler poured into a tulip.
A- Very hazy orange with a large off white head.
S- A large amount of skunky bittering hops, not a huge aroma but its pretty nice. A unique sugary maltiness. Some grapefruit and limes along with some dark fruits believe it or not.
T- This is a very unique tasting IPA. Im getting a lot of dark fruit tastes which are odd with such a high bitterness. A sugary sweet maltiness.
M- Good carbonation from the growler. This beer has a numbing bitterness to it. This has a full bodied feel and taste but goes down pretty easy.
O- This is without a doubt, one of the most unique tasting IPA's I have ever had. It has a very unique hop character and a high level of bitterness. These flavors shouldn't work, yet they sorta do.

22 oz dark brown bomber with a creative label. Poured into a standard pint glass.
A - murky with a cloudiness haze. Beer is a yellowish/golden color with a splash of Dirty orangish brown. Superb white color head with excellent lace that sticks nicely to the side of my glass.
S - citrusy aroma with a faint sweet caramel presence. Somewhat bready and yeasty. Whiffs of fruit esters throughout.
T - cracker like malt up front running into a more faint, but more sweet caramel malt. Hop bitterness is intense. Pine like hops seem to dominate any citrusy hop taste that creeps in from time to time. Good bite with this one. More of a dry bitter finish than anything else.
M - medium in body. Overly good carbonation. Enjoyable and sits nicely in the mouth. Fairly smooth IMO.
O - overall Yellow Snow IPA is a good west coast American IPA. Has loads of hop flavor. It is a beautiful beer sitting there dressed in it's wonderful color and look. While this isn't an IPA that has the 'it' factor to stand above and beyond all others, it's still a very good and well crafted American IPA.

Heard about this beer for a while, finally got a chance to try it. Pours a nice golden color, nice head to it. Typical hoppy aroma, a bit subdued even. Taste has a nice creamy mouthfeel, very malty upfront, the bitterness comes through on the back end and finish. A well balanced IPA, but really nothing sets it apart from the thousand others available. Cool to try and original bottle, but wouldn't seek it out again.
