A - Clear gold body, thick white head, never completely fades and leaves very heavy lacing.
S - Flower hops, biscuit with light toast.
T - Grassy, earthy hops, solid malt backbone, slightly atsringent aftertaste.
M - Medium/thick body, medium carb. Very smooth/oily as a result it lingers on the palate.
O - A good IPA for the winter. The heavy body makes it more suitable for colder weather. Try it out.

BY THE WAY: This is a single hopped beer with Amarillo only.

Appearance: Yellow, straw like color with a light gold hue. Nice big white frothy head. Tight bubbles.

Aroma: With all the grape-fruit, citrus bombs out there, this beer provided a very pleasant and different aroma. Full of lemon grass, pine, fruit, and sweet malt. The aroma is not as heavy as its competitors but different enough to win in the category of uniqueness.

Taste: You get that lemon grass bitterness and citrus in the taste. But the malt is there to keep things balanced. The house pacman yeast provides an unusually pleasant yeast like flavor that comes in the form of lightly cooked biscuits and bread.

Mouth-feel: light-med

Aftertaste: yes dry but not causing you to down a gallon of water. Like I have been saying, very pleasant.

Overall: This is a great beer brewed without the need of harmful chemicals or preservatives that other brewers use( to me thats a plus ). I highly recommend this beer not because its an OUTSTANDING beer with 100 IBUs and 10%ABV, NO, its just a really good damn beer!

Rogue Yellow Snow IPA has a medium, off-white head, a murky, yellow-orange-gold appearance, nice lacing, and noticeable bubble streams. Aroma is of lightly-roasted malt, light fruit, and unusual yeast. Taste is of straightforward, but not citrus-grapefruit-pineapple, bitterness, sweetness, yeast, and white bread. Mouthfeel is medium, and Rogue Yellow Snow IPA finishes not so dry, and pleasant.

22 oz. bottle, with no apparent bottled on date present. This stuff just came into town yesterday, so I'm certain it's fresh. Acquired the six pack from the local beer store. No idea why this shit is so expensive.

Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.

A - It pours a brassy burnt sienna orange with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Leaves behind good thick strands of lacing. Some carbonation bubbles lazily floating topside. Looks very nice.

S - A unique and pleasant aroma - floral, herbal, dirty, and earthy. Creamy, and slightly appley. Lots of honeyed bready malt presence.

T - The taste is mostly bready and malt driven, but it's very nicely flavored for a single hop IPA. The Amarillo presents notes of pine, resin, and grapefruit. Notes of apples and some metallics on the end.

M - The feel is smooth and creamy. Medium-bodied with good crisp carbonation.

Overall, an enjoyable IPA from Rogue. Not entirely sure why this one is a winter seasonal, but it is one whose release I look forward to.
