Having tried other Rogue Ales this was quite the disappointment. It poured a hazy yellow amber hue with a small white head that left little lacing. The nose was lemony and acidic and slightly stale smelling. Mouthfeel was rather thin and light. Flavor followed the nose with an abundance of lemon and stale hops. Some pine and malt were also present. I'm hoping that this was just an older bottle and not the intention of an (up until now) very solid brewery.

Teku glass/shaker.

A: Golden/orange color with big, white head with medium retention, little hazy Medium lacing.

S: Low aroma of tropical fruits (pinnaple), some low to medium citrus aromas (grapefruit), also low aroma of floral notes. Also noticable medium aromas of pale malts.

T: The taste is medium sweet, at first dominant by ale malts, but soon you can taste medium bitterness - mainly from grapefruit-like hops. It's consistant (bitterness) thru all the time. Some amarillo sweetness is noticable, but at low level. Light biscuitAlso you can feel and taste some floral notes.

M: Mouthfeel is pretty dominant by amarillo hops - sweetness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Semi-dry. Sticky texture. Zesty and asharp. Very low alcohol warmth.

O: I think it's too much zesty and refreshing for a winter beer. Another time my bottle came from to Europe from the US so the hoppy character is not as dominant, as it should be. You can feel some citrus and tropical fruit character. It could be recognizable by it's bitter character. I can say that this is very average AIPA.
