Impressive looking beer. Hazy amber colour with a solid, fluffy pale tan head. Decent head retention. Great lacing.
Good tropical fruit aromas. Pine, some caramel. Overall, good but it could be brighter.
Strong malty caramel up front tastewise. Some hops in there to balance this out but it seems unusually tilted to the malt. The hop character is generally fruity with hints of pine and cat's pee. Some lingering bitterness and some green dryness which may be tannic.
Medium mouthfeel with slightly lower than average carbonation which increases the perceived thickness. Slight tingling on the tongue but that is nicely acting as a palate cleanser.
Overall this is quite good. Lots of flavour and a near perfect mouthfeel. Well worth drinking.

22oz bottle poured into a glass. It has a burnt orange color body with a 2" white creamy head, that hangs out for a lttle bit and leaves a sticky foam on the glass. The smell has a very nice hop aroma and some malt coming through also. The taste has a very bitter hop flavor with a malt backbone. The mouth is very smooth and leaves a bitter after taste on the tongue. Overall this beer is really good.

Served on-draught into an Oskar Blues pilsner glass at a restaurant in SoCal. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a three finger beige colour head of nice cream and thickness, and great retention. Colour is a vibrant copper. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show.
Sm: Delightful floral hops, clean pale malts, and bright fruit. A pleasant aroma of mild strength.
T/Mf: Heavy floral and bittering hops. Accompanying naked bitterness is murky; decently hidden by the malty sweetness. Shockingly light on the palate and refreshing. Quite light on the palate. Fresh and refreshing. Very wet and smooth. Quite well executed.
Dr: Very drinkable and enjoyable. A tasty IPA from Rogue. I'd have it again - but only on-draught. Surprisingly solid stuff from Rogue; I remember it being worse from the bottle.
