First beer ever at the SF Rogue Ale House. Poured clear orange-gold with a bubbly white head. Good lacing. Fresh pine hops. Kind of that "wet forest" smell that is so nice. Sweeter malts, but overall a light nose. Crisp, effervescent mouthfeel with a dry finish. Very fresh hop taste. Piney, bitter, with just a little sour grapefruit and white pepper. True to the single IPA style gives it a refreshing quality. Liked it.

22oz bottle poured into a glass. It has a burnt orange color body with a 2" white creamy head, that hangs out for a lttle bit and leaves a sticky foam on the glass. The smell has a very nice hop aroma and some malt coming through also. The taste has a very bitter hop flavor with a malt backbone. The mouth is very smooth and leaves a bitter after taste on the tongue. Overall this beer is really good.

Served on-draught into an Oskar Blues pilsner glass at a restaurant in SoCal. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a three finger beige colour head of nice cream and thickness, and great retention. Colour is a vibrant copper. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show.
Sm: Delightful floral hops, clean pale malts, and bright fruit. A pleasant aroma of mild strength.
T/Mf: Heavy floral and bittering hops. Accompanying naked bitterness is murky; decently hidden by the malty sweetness. Shockingly light on the palate and refreshing. Quite light on the palate. Fresh and refreshing. Very wet and smooth. Quite well executed.
Dr: Very drinkable and enjoyable. A tasty IPA from Rogue. I'd have it again - but only on-draught. Surprisingly solid stuff from Rogue; I remember it being worse from the bottle.
