4oz sampler at the Rogue/issaquah brewhouse.
very clear of haze, with little head. smell is really impotent, until I accidentally got it on my nose. That brought out the woody and smoky tone that reminds me of salmon cooked too long on a wooden plank.
Flavor is good. I taste the grain, the smoke, wood and still taste some fishy meat flavors. It is interesting, and easy to drink. Really mellow.
Smoothness and drinkability are exceptional, especially at 6.4% abv.

Hadn't seen this one before and thought it was neat. Loved Dead Guy and enjoyed Double Dead Guy so I figured I'd pick it up.
Poured into pilsener glass; light amber like honey in color with a fluffy long-lived white head made of very fine bubbles.
Smells of buttery crackery malt, light caramel.
Taste reminds me a lot of Double Dead Guy, without the booze heat. Crackery caramel malt, tons of Maillard reaction flavor with some light vanilla and oak in the finish.
Mouthfeel is clean and medium bodied.
Overall, not much difference from Double Dead Guy here. Maybe I should try them side-by-side but eh well. Still tasty!
