It pours a deep dark brown almost black color. Has a nice thick tan colored head. The smell is mostly roasted malts and coffee. The taste is
chocolate and mocha coffee and small hints of hops. This was my first Porter brew. I didn't know what to expect really and found this beer to be a real nice surprise. The alcohol content is very high at 8.2 and it doesn't take long to notice it either. Warms you up quick. I will be drinking this again but more in the colder months of the year.
