PIcked up on discount, so likely well past prime...
poured into grip shaped glass: color is straw, nearly transparent, head is huge and took 10 minutes to get it below 1 inch, color is off white with fine to medium bubbles.
Smell is neutral malt, light sweetness, noble hops, probably the best aspect of the beer.
Taste is similar - malt is neutral, lightly sweet, noble like hops.
Mouthfeel is not as dry as expected with the huge head - just a slightly over carbed brew.
Overall a brew that is likely much better fresh.

Bottle to goblet.
Aroma, light hops, light citrus, light yeast, light. Wheat/bread.
Appearance, cloudy yellow. White head, Lasting.
Taste, creamy taste, touch of grapefruit, but with a sweetness.
Palate, is alive. Small bubbles. And medium thick viscosity, but still feels light.
Mediocre for Rogue. Pretty darn good by most other standards.
Welcome back, Jack Bauer."

2010. First release of this beer. Rating set to current average, as this should not be aged and is only for educational purposes.
Big gasp of co2 and billowing head don't bode well.
Aroma is slightly sweet caramel malt dominant, with a touch of floral character and grain.
Flavor is caramel and toasted malt dominant, but retains an earthy, moderately bitter finish.
Aside from the carbonation, an enjoyable beer.

Clear yellow beer with a full sized snow white head. This looks like a lager.
Smells strongly of toasted grain. Lesser scent of caramel and scorched sugar. Mild noble hop aroma that is mostly lemon scent.
Starts out neutral with a little bit of bitterness and a stronger grass flavor. Mildly sweet and a little astringent. That is about it tastes like they steeped the grain too hot.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall a average beer.
