A- Pours nicely, dark black with a one finger mocha head. Very little retention and no lacing.
S- Nothing special about the smell, slight hints of chocolate, mostly a strong burnt barley smell.
T- Very strong burnt barley taste. And I do mean burnt, seems like all the Stouts I've had from Rogue have some burnt barley.
M- Okay mouthfeel, medium body, a little light for a dark beer. Small, almost inconsequential bite at the end.
D- I wasn't impressed with this beer. I don't think I'll try another Rogue beer. Every one I've had has been unimpressive. This is another letdown.
