Dark black/red with thick one finger head that did not retain well.
The unique thing about this is the hop profile that this give out. I was not expecting the hop along with the coffee and chocolate. I won't go as far as to say this is complex, just unique. The citic hop blends well with the coffee and chocolate notes that I was expecting.
The taste is good like I rated it. All aromas are prevalant in the taste in a good blance. Nothing is obnoxious, but each flavor is distinct. Feel is a bit on the thin side but over leaves a good aftertaste.
Overall a good drinking stout. A little outside the box with the strong hops, but well received. Could easily be a session beer when you want to go a little darker.
