On tap at the Avenue Pub.
Poured in a 10oz tulip style glass. Arrives with a nice one finger mocha colored head. The beer is not completely black with some dark brown showing through on the corners. 4.5
It literally smells like hersheys syrup. Unreal. I've had quite a few chocolate beers, and this takes the prize for most authentic. There's a slight hint of sweet cream but for the most part it's all chocolate. No alcohol on the nose. 4.5
Again, hersheys syrup hits you first followed by a little vanilla and some sweet cream. No alcohol but a little heat. Really enjoyable. 4.0
Mouthfeel might be a tad thin but not too bad. It actually keeps the drinkability quite high. This is a great beer and the best chocolate stout I've had to date.

750ml bottle at 41 F poured into a pair of large chalices. Surprisingly, I can't find a bottle code or date
Pours black, not much head -- just a light brown ring. Not much carbonation. Looks thick. Smell is chocolate and black licorice, slightly sweet.
Taste is more of the smell. Chocolate and black licorice, Something tealike, much more coffee. Nice sweetness.
Mouthfeel is thick but not heavy, slight grit. Overall, very tasty.
Belatedly: Vanilla. Definitely some vanilla. Maybe it came out more as it warmed.
